Lexington County Peach Festival
July 4, 2017 at 9AM
The Lexington County Peach Festival is recognized as one of the most successful and prestigious events of its kind in the southeast United States. Summer after summer in the 50's, 60's, and 70's, the community was alive with the harvesting, packing, and shipping of peaches. Today, while we find only a few peach farms still in operation, the peach remains (in our minds) the Queen of all Fruits and worthy of honor in our small town. Festivities kick off every year with the parade at 9:30AM and stretch into the night until 10PM when we bring the day to a close with a dazzling display of fireworks. We hope you plan to spend July 4th with us as you enjoy live entertainment, the peachy and patriotic parade, over 100 Art & Craft Exhibits, antique car show, a Revolutionary War Re-enactment, tractor show, children’s rides, and many food items specializing in “Peachy” delights!
