SC Poultry Festival
May 11 - 13, 2017
The South Carolina Poultry Festival is held the 2nd Saturday in May each year where you can enjoy your favorites like the annual parade, road race, volleyball tournament, cooking contest, car show, games and rides. Governor's Cup Road Race
May 19-20, 2017
Launched in 1973, the Lexington Medical Center Governor’s Cup Road Race is one of the oldest, continuously conducted road race events in the Southeast. South Carolina’s Running Festival kicks off with an Expo. The excitement moves on to the Main Street Mile and Kid’s Mile (Fun Run) on Friday evening. The Half Marathon and the 5k Run/Walk will take place on Saturday. The finish area will include music, food, vendors, and activities leading up to our awards ceremonies and a post-race celebration. Jailbreak 5K

Over the past 10 years, over 5,000 participants of all ages and fitness levels have gathered in Lexington to enjoy a morning of fun and friendly competition. In the process, over $70,000 has been raised to support law enforcement efforts in Lexington County. Southern Guitar Festival & Competition
June 10-11, 2017
The Southern Guitar Festival and Competition is an annual event that brings world caliber guitarists to Columbia, South Carolina. Our mission is to inspire and educate all music lovers. This two day festival will present concerts, workshops, lectures, and an international solo and ensemble competition. The guitar competition includes divisions for elementary/middle school, high school, and college/professional level classical guitarists.
